Dudes,
So, I sat down to watch The Simpsons last night thinking about 20 years ago when the show got so much attention when it began. 20 years. Wow. Then I pushed play and the opening was different. Not only did it show a different part of Springfield, but the whole tv screen was full. Even though I record it off of the fox hd channel, The Simpsons has always been in regular, lame tv. But not last night. Our whole family room was illuminated by the glow of Springfield. Then, Bart's chalkboard message was about HD being worth the cost. Pretty cool. Of course watching the Simpson family chasing their couch all over the world was pretty funny as well. Did you all see Sideshow Bob slashing at Bart as he skateboarded by? Or that Sideshow Bob had a plaque on the Springfield Hall of Fame? Too funny. There can't be any question as to why the show is still on after 20 years.
