OK... Several things here.
1) Clint, congrats on your camping experience. I'm glad you've had a experience you're not likely to forget. I admit, I the first thing I thought of when you said you were sleeping on a rocky crack was "that experience must have put a crack in his ass." May I note that you if you were a fan of "Survivorman," (he's no longer making new episodes -- probably slept on one too many cracks), you would have learned to go out and forage for some soft bedding... Grasses... leaves...something. I mean, even animals make nests. :) hehehehe Oh yeah... Clint.. you should have been there with us in 1991. Ken's not kidding when he was saying it was cold. Just thinking of that night makes parts of my body... well, nevermind. It was cold, and I remember Erich slept past 10AM or something ridiculous because he brought 2 sleeping bags and was toasty warm while the rest of us huddled around a fire. I wish I had pics of the Ken-cicle sitting by the fire. Sadly, I really wouldn't mind doing that again, having said all of that. Preferably in the spring or summer months, though.
2) Now, this next section is not a Clint-friendly topic. Or, who knows.. I mean, damn, he's voting... getting involved in the political process... camping.. sleeping on cracks. Who knows, sports might be right up your alley. I'm mad as hell at the STUPIDITY Jim Livengood (athletic director of the UA) has exhibited at the handling of 'trying' to hire a new coach of the UA basketball team. Considering the complete turmoil and 2 interim head coaches, NOT screwing up the hiring of a more permanent coach should have been top priority. In fact, it should have been top priority last when when O'Neil was acting as interim coach, because it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where that was going. USC?! Floyd?! WTF Livengood, you ass!!! Whoever is over Livengood needs to be on the lookout for a new athletic director. Now.. because even stupid Floyd rejected a job offer to coach for the UA, we'll probably get stuck with some shlub from top high school or something lame. Tucson deserves better than that. The school deserves better than! Tucson is prime retirement territory for any wealthy basketball coach! Get a mansion up in the mountains, over looking the city.. I mean, who could turn that down? You have these good coaches in Memphis... Louisville... These coaches are happy living in Kentucky and Tennessee?! I don't get it. We'll see what happens. Sigh. I need a drink now.
