Let it Snow

Dudes,

Yep, I'm still reading our blog. Reading it seems to be easier than posting. So, who's going over or has already gone over to the dark side? And why?

It's been snowing here since late yesterday afternoon. Very light and very dry. I can't even feel it when the shovel is full. But it still makes a mess. It's also very picturesque. The new snow on the ground, the overcast sky, and the pale sunlight coming through fills me with the urge to go out and battle frost giants. However, I'll have to settle for taking the kids in the minivan to a nearby sledding hill. At least I'll get to use some of my Winter Weather wardrobe that I've been dragging around with us since we moved away from North Dakota.

Oh, btw, we learned recently that at midnight on New Years Eve (also very early on New Year's Day) someone shoots off fireworks from Pikes Peak. We could just barely see it but it was pretty cool.

Well, off to suit up the kids for some EVA fun.
