Well, I did it. I showed my children their very first Simpsons episode. On top of that, it was The Treehouse of Horror V. My reasoning: "What the hell." Kids verdict: "Cartoon genius that was a laugh riot." (or something to that sort).
They wanted to see more episodes, but I put my foot down and said, "Later." Although, I confess I let them watch Homer try to vote for Obama.
This was amusing...the other day Maddie was telling me that she saw that Obama was leading in the polls. Aiden felt he had to chime in and say "Well, if McCain wins, we can see his bunny rabbit impression."
This is funny if you've seen McCain's Brain episode 5..
