Jeez, what a summer.
A new AC for my server room required me to move everything out and put it all back in after the AC was installed, which was quite a bit of work. I broke up with Kim. I punched myself in the jaw while rebuilding my server room and broke a tooth. I found out I had let my dental insurance lapse, which means I've eaten about 300 jars of ibuprofen since June and I'll die of kidney failure any day now. Started hanging with Kim again. Did an emergency water pump replacement before trying to leave Tucson. My apartment has become a disaster area and I don't want to clean it. My other UNIX admin here at work left to work in Texas, of all places, leaving me alone. But I got a promotion! I've learned that I'm insanely out of shape by going on camping trips and hikes and I rode a magic swing - twice.
I can only hope everyone else's summers have been equally boring.
