So, Ken, what you are saying is that the Star Trek movie is fine and dandy for people who haven't seen any of the old stuff, or don't have a fully functional memory chips in their brain?
OK.. fine, I'm putting words in your mouth. But, in anycase, irregardless of the time line, it will be interesting to see what they do with this. I'm all for an alternate time line if it maintains the goodness I saw on opening day. Heck, by the third "new" Star Trek movie, we might even see Kirk putting the moves on Spock in some weird unknown Romulan friendship-trust ceremony. OK... Forget I said that. But still, anything goes.
